Earth Day movie at NEC!!!

This year in celebration of Earth Day, New Hampshire Sierra Club will show a documentary on the controversial mountaintop removal coal mining, its links to global warming, and even how New Hampshire is involved. The movie, Coal Country, will be shown on the New England College campus in Henniker in the CEI building, Room 201. After the showing of the movie we will end with a discussion with local representative from New Hampshire Sierra Club. This is free and open to the public.

See COAL COUNTRY at Red River Theatre in Concord on January 11, 2009 and support NH Sierra Club's work to reduce climate change pollution in New Hampshire. A special night with a reception, viewing and panel discussion is scheduled for Monday, January 11, 2010. Panelist include experts on local carbon reduction efforts and advocates for communities affected by mountain top removal mining and environmental protections.
