To clean your oven, mix a quart of warm water, two teaspoons borax and two tablespoons of liquid soap. Spray into your oven, wait 20 minutes, then clean. Or make a thick paste with water and baking soda and scrub with a nylon scrubbing pad. If there’s a lot of grease, add a drop of liquid soap. To remove spots, use very fine steel wool. A wet cleaning pumice bar can be used to remove the toughest spots.
