It’s really easy to beat yourself up when you’re trying to do the right thing. Instead of feeling good about yourself for helping in small ways, you look around you and feel overwhelmed with how much there is to do – or not do. And panic.
Don’t go down that road: Nothing good comes of it, and you might even end up giving up, which would be way too bad.
Instead, we’d like you to take the advice of a very wise woman we know, who once advised us to choose just one environmental goal at a time to focus on, whether that be bringing cloth bags on every shopping excursion, buying all organic food, driving less, etc.
When you’re able to focus on one goal, it’ll become more rewarding and enjoyable.
Eventually, it’ll become a habit, and you’ll be able to give a new challenge your full attention. In the meantime, you’ll feel good about what you’re doing, not stressed out about it or overwhelmed. And besides, isn’t the goal to inspire others to join us? You can only do that when you’re excited and happy yourself.
What's your focus?

we need lots of baby steps quickly if we are going to reduce our CO2 in time. Co2 just hit 397 ppm ouch http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/apr/27/arctic-carbon-dioxide-...
But we can do it.

Oh it is so easy to feel overwhelmed. I wrote a post on our blog at www.GreenPoma.com about how incredibly paralyzing it can be to choose the right path: http://tinyurl.com/c2yfu7
It's all about baby steps...
