Through April 15, Concord-area Staples will offer free black and white, double-sided copies – up to 20 pages - of 2008 tax returns. Additionally, Staples is making it easy for customers to keep an electronic and secure copy of important documents by offering 100 free scans to PDF documents until July 4 at all Copy & Print Center locations for customers who purchase a Staples Copy & Print Center USB flash drive."

Says Staples: Print double-sided copies. In 2006, more than 99,778,437 tons of paper, or 663 pounds per person, were consumed, according to the Secret Life of Paper. By printing double-sided documents, this number can be reduced 20% annually. Using the “double-sided” button on the office copier can reduce monthly paper expenses by $60, according to ENERGY STAR.
