The Northeast Sustainability Energy Association aims to build the knowledge of professionals with in-depth, professionally accredited workshops on a wide range of critical topics. - Nuts and Bolts of Building Performance: Designing for energy efficiency and endurance, with Paul Malko and Pat Nangle - June 4 at the Foard Panel, 53 Stow Drive, West Chesterfield from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Paul Malko is chief engineer at Foard Panel Inc. Pat Nangle is a Venmar Northeast Sales Rep and an indoor air quality consultant, energy efficient consultant and Home Energy Auditor.
Be prepared for a technical discussion that explains how design choices and building components work as a system. Through case studies and building science standards, Paul will demonstrate construction techniques that improve energy efficiency and building durability. Specific concentration will be given to structural insulated panels, heat recovery ventilation units and venting materials for roofs and walls. - Scorekeeping: Benchmarking and Monitoring Energy Performance, with Mike Duclos and Paul Eldrenkamp - June 9 at Public Service of New Hampshire, 5 Rivers Auditorium, Manchester from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mike Duclos and Paul Eldrenkamp are both certified passive house consultants with The DEAP Energy Group. This workshop qualifies for 3.5 BPI CEU's.
The fee for the one-day workshops is $270 for NESEA members and $295 for nonmembers. A continental breakfast and a luncheon are provided.
