Writer John Harrigan speaks at Merrimack County Conservation District's Annual Meeting on June 29th at Musterfield FarmBy merrimackcounty... | June 15, 2010Join us for dinner with one of the North Country's favorite sons, second generation journalist John Harrigan. Mr. Harrigan will regale us with "rambling remarks from above the notches." A well known writer, raconteur and passionate lover of New Hampshire's wild places, Harrigan promises to cover a wide range of subjects "from geology to Indians to accents to strange takes from the world of woods and water---cougars, wolves, caribou, you name it." The event will be held at Muster Field Farm in Sutton, Tuesday June 29, beginning at 6:00. In addition to Mr. Harrigan's talk there will be time for socializing, a pulled-pork dinner, door prizes and a brief business meeting. The cost is $15/ person. Everyone is welcome! Visit www.merrimackccd.org for more information. Please RSVP by June 22nd. We hope to see you there.
